Dr. Kornfeld is a common speaker in veterinary events in the USA and South America and founded Veterinary Success Services & Vets Beyond Medicine in addition to being a key player in developing our Practice Growth & Client Retention Systems.

Dr. Kornfeld has published three business books in veterinary medicine:

  1. Leading the Way to Your Dream Practice, which uses coaching tools to build a successful team and practice.
  2. Secrets for Chaos Control in Your Practice, a book that teaches veterinary professionals the concepts of systematizing their operations and careers.
  3. Retention marketing for Veterinary Professionals, which helps practices systematize their marketing to achieve a steady flow of clients, ready to approve necessary services.

He has also published numerous articles on success-related topics in veterinary publications in the USA and in South America. Together with his partner, Dr. Kornfeld has developed a specialized system that can turn almost any practice into a top notch business around delivering outstanding, consistent and predictable client experience; the best edge in practice.

Jay Brown, DVM, MS


Jay-BrownDr. Brown is also a veterinarian in the USA and has had successful careers in practice, academia, and the animal health industry prior to founding Vetgate Global & Vet Check-in. These two Software as a Service (SaaS) businesses have developed innovative features to assist veterinary practices in Practice Marketing, Client Communications, & Practice Compliance Analytics.

Dr. Brown previously spent 20 years in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry with Merck AgVet & Merial, after his University of Illinois CVM academic career.  In addition, he founded and built a successful practice which continues today.

During his animal health industry career he provided technical marketing support for some of the most innovative products developed to improve the health & well being of animals.

Vetgate Global & Vet Check-in services are used by hundreds of practices in the U.S. and Canada. They were developed after Dr. Brown had visited 1000’s of practices throughout his career and noticed a lack of standardized practice marketing services, little to no proactive, outbound client communications, and no easy method of practice analytics being employed by veterinary practices and their staff.

These SaaS services have helped practices grow revenue and retain clients over the past 12 years.
